This session is suitable for those wishing to apply to schemes (e.g. Royal Society Research Grant, and the BBSRC, EPSRC, MRC and NERC New Investigator schemes) which funds ECRs in the natural and physical sciences, including engineering.
Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent status. To be eligible for the above schemes you need to be a permanent member of academic staff, and usually not have been awarded substantial funding in the past. To get the most out of this session you will need to have a well defined project in mind.
