If you missed the launch of the new BBC Radio 4 programme ‘Stranger Than Sci-Fi’ last night then grab your headphones and listen on the BBC website now.
The show, presented by the University of Portsmouth’s Dr Jen Gupta alongside comedian Alice Fraser, talks about Anne Charnock’s book, Dreams Before The Start Of Time, which imagines a future where babies could be grown in artificial wombs and how close modern technology is to making this a reality.
The series will be broadcast over the next six weeks, and is exploring the way science fiction and real science overlap and influence each other. The next episode ‘Black Hole Jacuzzi’s’ will be aired at 9pm on 24th July.
