A special edition of the Manchester Journal of International Economic Law has been co-edited by Professor Leïla Choukroune, Director of the University of Portsmouth Thematic Area in Democratic Citizenships, as a follow up of the June 2018 UK-INDIA TRADE Conference.

The introduction co-written by Professor Leïla Choukroune focusses on UK-India post-Brexit and the consequences of Brexit and all UK trade partners.

The journal covers all aspects of international economic law including in particular world trade law, international investment law, international monetary and financial law, international taxation, international labour law, international corporate responsibility and international development law.

The special issue of the Manchester Journal of International Economic Law will contribute to the debate on the role of the State and its interactions with the economic forces of globalisation.
