The Web of Science (WoS) is a global citation database of scholarly articles from over 21,000 peer-reviewed, cross-disciplinary academic journals worldwide.
WoS can be used to locate full text articles, see citation counts for individual articles and see who is citing them, find out how much interest an article is generating by the number of downloads from WoS, find papers by specific authors and discover journal rankings by Impact Factor.
UoP has an institutional subscription to the WoS which allows staff and students to log in and search it for free. Regular Essentials webinars are held to help researchers understand what WoS is and what it can do to aid in their research.
