Applications for Daiwa Adrian Prizes, the prestigious awards for scientific excellence in the UK and Japan, are now being accepted until the deadline of Friday 10 June 2016. Applications are invited from joint teams of British and Japanese scientists working on collaborative projects.
The Prizes are awarded by The Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation on a triennial basis in recognition of significant scientific collaboration between British and Japanese research teams.
Since their launch in 1992, 38 Prizes totalling £445,000 have been awarded to 76 teams representing 75 different institutions, including 36 from the UK and 37 from Japan – reflecting the breadth and diversity of scientific achievement by scientists in the two countries.
