As it’s International Open Access week this week, we’ve been busy answering lots of questions in the Library about managing and sharing research data.

One task we were set was to produce a printable checklist that condenses what academics need to know about research data management onto just 1 page.

This has been a bit of a challenge, to say the least!  But my colleague, Dr Gary Pike, University’s Research Data Officer, has produced this practical guide –

1 PAGE CHECKLIST: RESEARCH DATA MANAGEMENT AND SHARING

Hopefully you’ll find this useful. If you want to meet Gary to talk about how this affects your projects, then please feel free to get in touch on researchdata@port.ac.uk  or take a look at the research data website.

You may also like to look at our earlier blog post this week that explains where to share research data in more detail or follow the Research Outputs team on Twitter.
