An event hoping to bring together all staff involved in food related research is being held on the 13th March.
The event is hoping to look at the story food research at the University of Portsmouth with a view to developing future projects and collaborations that can contribute to sustainability of environments and societies.
Many academic disciplines such as food research can benefit from input drawn upon from many different areas such as data science, forecasting, circular economies, logistics and transport, urban planning, material development, social sciences, value chains, quality management, social innovation, technology, creative industries and many areas of applied science. This workshop will bring a diverse audience together drawing upon expertise found in many of the areas listed above to address the challenges faced by the food industry, identify common goals and tell a story of what food research is at Portsmouth.
