Elsevier have set up a series of webinars as part of an agreement with the University of Portsmouth to offer regular training and support for skills, knowledge and professional development on a variety of topics aimed at Postgraduate students, Academic staff, Researchers, Library and Research staff.
The next upcoming training sessions are scheduled for September and November, as follows:
7th September 2.00-3.00pm: How to get published in a scholarly journal: Top Tips from a Publisher
15th September, 2.00-3.00pm: How to address some of researchers’ most pressing questions with Scopus – Scopus as a tool for research students and researchers
22nd September, 2.00-3.00pm: Introduction to Research Metrics and Indicators in Scopus – Using Journal-Level, Article-Level, and Author-Level metrics responsibly
29th September, 2.00-3.00pm: Introduction to ScienceDirect: More than a full text platform
24th November, 2.00-3.00pm: Introduction to Mendeley Reference Manager
