This blog post is a quick reminder for all Portsmouth academics who are conducting clinical trials, including experiments and studies involving humans in medical and health care areas.

You need to register your work with a national or international registry. This is a legal requirement for some trials. It’s purpose is to help with the more effective sharing of research results.

Academics need to –

  • Register your project initially and let know.
  • Update the registry record once the research is complete, adding the results and (were ever possible) data.
