This blog post is a quick reminder for all Portsmouth academics who are conducting clinical trials, including experiments and studies involving humans in medical and health care areas.
You need to register your work with a national or international registry. This is a legal requirement for some trials. It’s purpose is to help with the more effective sharing of research results.
Academics need to –
- Register your project initially and let researchdata@port.ac.uk know.
- Update the registry record once the research is complete, adding the results and (were ever possible) data.
For more details please see the instructions on the Library website (see steps 1-3). If you have any questions, please get in contact with researchdata@port.ac.uk
